Test B: Powertrain Control Module Does Not Respond To Scan Tool
- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect PCM harness connector C415. Measure resistance between PCM harness connector C415 terminal No. 16 (Gray/Orange wire) and DLC terminal No. 2 (Gray/Red wire). See Figure and Fig 1
. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms , repair open between C415 and DLC connector. Test system operation.
- Measure resistance between PCM connector C415 terminal No. 15 (Blue/Black wire) and DLC connector terminal No. 10 (Blue/Red wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace PCM and test system operation. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open between C415 and DLC connector. Test system operation.
