To release fuel pressure, disconnect the fuel pump harness connector located under center floor carpet. Start engine and allow to idle until it stalls, then turn ignition off. Disconnect negative battery cable. When testing or repairs are complete, reconnect fuel pump harness connector and negative battery cable. Prime fuel system. See PRIMING FUEL SYSTEM .
