CAUTION: Sensor may be damaged if wiring harness is connected incorrectly.
  1. Connect the negative (-) lead from the ohmmeter to terminal No. 4 and the positive (+) lead to terminal No. 5. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION .
  2. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal No. 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal No. 2.
  3. Check that the continuity exists when the window goes up.
  4. Check that no continuity exists when the window is in the fully closed position. If operation is not as specified, replace the motor. See WINDOW REGULATOR (FRONT DOOR)  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
