  1. Start engine and allow to idle. Remove connector from switch. Connect ohmmeter to switch terminals. Turn steering wheel from side to side and note continuity reading.
  2. Continuity should exist with wheels turned but should not exist with wheel straight ahead. Replace switch if continuity is not correct.
