  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Disconnect the fuel pump unit connector. (Refer to FUEL PUMP UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Inspect for continuity between fuel pump unit terminals A-B.
