Crankshaft Position Sensor: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Disconnect the connector (A) and remove the transmission harness (B) from the ATF cooler pipe. (AT model)
  3. Remove the bolt securing the preheater pipe.

  4. Disconnect the connector (A) and remove the crankshaft position sensor.
    CAUTION: To prevent the preheater hose from being damaged or loose, pay careful attention while moving the preheater pipe.
